Caroline is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist working with patients and corporate wellness clients in the Wilmington area and online via telehealth.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Clemson University, Caroline attended Tulane University for her dietetic internship. While completing varied rotations in New Orleans, from community programs and teaching kitchens to cardiac rehab and other specialized clinics, Caroline infused her nutrition experience with the unique aspects of the local cultures and cuisines. She then worked at a hospital in Los Angeles, serving a diverse multi-cultural population. As a hospital dietitian, Caroline educated patients with a spectrum of chronic health conditions and treated malnutrition and critical care patients. Through these experiences, Caroline found her calling to help people in the prevention of disease with a focus on balance and sustainability.
Caroline’s interest in nutrition and health was inspired by witnessing a close family member make healthy lifestyle changes to tackle high cholesterol, and this ultimately led her to a career in nutrition. She loves working as a dietitian because it allows her to combine her love for science with her desire to help others. Caroline’s goal is to empower others to achieve their full health potential that compliments their lifestyle, and she strongly believes enjoyment of food is necessary in sustaining health and happiness.
