Sarah is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist working with patients and corporate wellness clients in the Wilmington area and online via telehealth. A Goldsboro native turned Wilmington resident, Sarah is an enthusiastic foodie, and a certified yoga instructor.
Attending Meredith College, Sarah received a Master of Science in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship with rotations including LifeStyle Medical Centers and Duke Integrative Medicine. She has years of experience assisting clients with weight loss and chronic disease management, including altered lab values, diabetes management and auto-immune conditions. Through her own personal health struggles, Sarah has a deep passion for helping individuals navigate their digestive disorders, including but not limited to food allergies and sensitivities, acid reflux and inflammatory bowel conditions.
Sarah connects and guides clients towards a deeper understanding of how everyday food choices, eating behaviors, and physical activity can be modified to help each client achieve their goals. Using an individualized approach, Sarah provides strategies for creating satisfying, well-balanced meals that support a healthy lifestyle. Sarah’s Nutrition Philosophy is that REAL food nourishes from the inside out. She does not believe in an optimal diet for everyone but instead believes that through self-awareness, patience, and practice, your body has the wisdom to tell you precisely what it needs. It is Sarah’s mission to provide a supportive environment for clients to develop a positive relationship with food, and in turn, discover their truest, happiest self.
