Rebecca Kolman, MA

Rebecca Kolman is Summerfield’s Executive Director, leading the company’s strategic direction, operations, and general management.

Rebecca joined the Summerfield team in 2017, where she was able to blend her background in education with her growing passion in healthcare. She played a key role in developing the company’s signature program, Reset & Rebalance. In 2018, she stepped into the role of Director of Operations, leading expansion efforts that included the introduction of workplace wellness services and the opening of Summerfield’s outpatient office in the Raleigh-Durham area. In 2021, Rebecca further expanded her leadership and impact by assuming the role of Executive Director. Her favorite aspect of this position is supporting the growth and development of the team so they can successfully advance the company’s mission and vision while delivering excellent patient care.

She has a Master’s degree in Higher Education and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.  She has also completed the Integrative Health Coaching program at Duke Integrative Medicine. Prior to joining Summerfield, she had a 10-year career in higher education, focusing on program management, marketing, communications, and recruitment.  She developed an interest in the business of healthcare through a position with the Health Sector Management program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she managed a specialized certificate in healthcare leadership and administration for Executive MBA students.  She continues to implement the insights gained from the experiences of these roles as Summerfield evolves and grows.
