Megan is a Registered Dietitian whose specialized areas include weight management, women’s health, chronic disease management, and general wellness. She currently serves patients in the Raleigh-Durham area. She graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics and a minor in chronic illness. Megan completed her dietetic internship at Meredith College, completing rotations at Summerfield Custom Wellness in Wilmington, WakeMed Health, Brunswick County Women, Infants, and Children, and Brunswick Child Nutrition.
With new nutrition trends emerging every day, Megan realizes how intimidating it can be to find a safe and effective nutrition plan to reach and maintain health goals. She is passionate about helping her clients navigate this process to develop a customized solution that meets their individualize needs and desires. Megan considers herself to be her client’s biggest cheerleader and is invested in their success. She recognizes that quick fixes are not sustainable and guides her clients towards realistic, short-term goals that will enhance long-term success.
Megan is originally from Annapolis, Maryland and moved to North Carolina in 2015. Megan enjoys reading, exploring walking trails around Durham with her husband, hosting family and friends, and fostering dogs from local rescues.
