Lauren Boulus is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist working with patients online via telehealth and corporate wellness clients in the Raleigh-Durham area.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in nutrition science from North Carolina State University, Lauren attended Meredith College to complete her master’s degree. She also completed her dietetic internship through Meredith College, including clinical rotations at UNC Rex Healthcare and an extended critical care rotation at a level one trauma center in Raleigh, as well as a rotation within a group of local wellness centers. Lauren has spent several years of her career as a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting, gaining a great deal of experience with many health conditions. She also has experience counseling patients in an outpatient healthcare office.
Growing up with a grandmother born and raised in Greece, Lauren’s passion for food began at a young age, as she helped prepare authentic Greek meals in the kitchen with her family. Additionally, Lauren’s interest in how individual nutrients could impact one’s health developed as her grandfather discussed the importance of nutrition throughout her childhood. Once she became a senior in high school, Lauren knew that combining her love for nutrition with her desire to help others meant becoming a dietitian was the only career for her!
As a dietitian, Lauren’s goal is to help improve her patients’ lives through food and balanced nutrition. She enjoys developing connections with her patients and working with them to find customized ways to improve their health and enjoy food at the same time.
