Kyrstin is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist working with patients and corporate wellness clients in the Raleigh-Durham area and online via telehealth.
After earning her bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University, Kyrstin attended Meredith College for her dietetic internship. During this experience, she completed rotations at WakeMed, Duke’s Diet and Fitness Center, and Fresenius Kidney Care.
She found her calling towards a career in nutrition science when her own health and wellness was at stake due to complications from an autoimmune disorder. Through lifestyle changes, specifically oriented around her food choices, Kyrstin was able to learn, grow, and heal. Her ability to overcome and thrive gave her the inspiration to help others who are seeking the tools to improve their health, which led to her decision to become a Registered Dietitian.
Kyrstin’s goal is to help others find foods and create meals that they love while supporting progress towards their health goals. She also loves sharing practical approaches to eating more mindfully. Her areas of expertise include weight management, gut health, and autoimmune disease management utilizing functional and integrative nutrition approaches.
