Kerrie Miller is a Registered Dietitian in with over 10 years of experience working with clients of all ages in various settings, disease states, and levels of motivation. Kerrie works with patients in the Wilmington area.
Kerrie started her career working as a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting where she saw first hand how powerful nutrition can be in the healing process of some diseases. She found her love of nutrition counseling though when she transitioned to working in the out-patient setting as the dietitian for both a radiation/oncology center as well as a cardio-pulmonary rehab center. Since then Kerrie has worked in different settings including schools, dialysis centers, and nursing homes.
Kerrie’s aim is to help her clients identify their personal goals and develop a realistic plan to help them achieve improved health through changes in eating habits and behaviors. Her interest areas include weight management, employee wellness, and helping clients better understand and manage their chronic diseases like diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Kerrie received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from Drexel University and completed her dietetic internship through the University of Delaware. Kerrie moved to Wilmington in 2007 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She loves spending time at the beach, riding bikes, and playing outside with her 2 young sons and handsome husband!
Kerrie’s Nutrition Philosophy: Kerrie believes that nutrition is the key to optimal health and that through increased awareness about mindfulness and the healing power of food, diets and restrictive eating can become obsolete.
