Hillary is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist working with patients and corporate wellness clients in the Raleigh-Durham area and online via telehealth.
After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton in Ohio, Hillary attended the University of Pittsburgh. There she received her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship with rotations at UPMC Presbyterian, The Carnegie Science Center, and the University of Pittsburgh Wellness. Her career as a Dietitian has allowed her to spend time in the community teaching nutrition classes, and also to work in a clinical setting on an interdisciplinary team with medical providers, psychologists, and fitness specialists.
Hillary has always loved cooking and creating in the kitchen but became interested in a career in nutrition during her undergraduate classwork. She was drawn to learning nutrient metabolism and understanding the connection between food and well-being. Throughout her coursework, internship, and in her career, she developed her passion for helping individuals to optimize their health and creating positive relationships with food.
Hillary uses her expertise to support individuals in their health journey and creating sustainable, personalized nutrition goals. She believes that all patients have the confidence to become mindful of their eating to fit their body’s needs. Hillary has experience working with both adult and pediatric patients. Her experience includes cholesterol management, plant-based eating, weight management, digestive health concerns, and chronic disease management.
