Aubrey Stephenson is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist working with patients and corporate wellness clients online via telehealth.
Originally from Northern Virginia, Aubrey attended Virginia Tech for her Bachelor of Science in human nutrition, foods and exercise; Master of Public Health and dietetic internship. During the internship experience, she completed rotations with the Salem, Virginia Veteran’s Affairs Hospital, Virginia Tech’s Hokie Wellness department, United Way of Roanoke Valley, and Virginia Cooperative Extension.
Aubrey also has a background in fitness and wellness programming. She has taught group fitness classes in various cardio and weight training formats. She spent time developing and implementing wellness programming including cooking classes, happiness groups and general wellbeing presentations.
She became a dietitian because of her passion for empowering people to improve their nutrition, health and wellbeing. Aubrey loves working with people to help them find the optimal nutrition plan that works for them. Her approach focuses on making sustainable changes over time to build realistic nutrition habits that can last.
Aubrey believes that practicing intuitive eating techniques enable us to trust our bodies, which in turn can help us make changes to our diet. Her areas of expertise include nutrition for weight loss and management, chronic illness, obtaining exercise goals and general wellbeing. She believes that individualized nutrition is the most effective way to reach nutrition and health goals to live healthy with confidence and ease.
