Ashley is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist working with patients in the Wilmington area and online via telehealth.
After earning her bachelor’s degree from UNC Wilmington, she moved to Rock Hill, South Carolina to attend Winthrop University where she received her Master of Science in Human Nutrition and also completed her dietetic internship.
Ashley is a North Carolina native, UNCW alum, and after family, faith, and food, her true loves are her dog, the beach, coffee, and Olympic lifting and functional fitness. She developed a passion for nutrition after experiencing for herself how diet modification transformed her body composition and dramatically improved her performance as a collegiate soccer player. As a dietitian, one of her greatest joys is teaching individuals how to fuel for their specific goals, lifestyle, food preferences, and physical activity while also empowering them to break free from chronic dieting.
She believes in a real food approach to nutrition that shifts the focus to more mindfulness and intentionality around food and eating behaviors. This approach allows her clients to reach their health, performance, and body composition goals while eating foods they truly enjoy, improving their relationship with food, and creating healthy habits that fit seamlessly into their everyday. Her areas of expertise include weight management, sports nutrition, diabetes prevention and management.
