Ashley Patrick is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, working with patients online and in the Wilmington area. After graduating from UNCW, Ashley moved to Rock Hill, South Carolina to attend Winthrop University where she received her Master of Science in Human Nutrition and also completed her dietetic internship.
As a dietitian, her greatest desire is to empower individuals to break free from chronic dieting and learn how to fuel for their specific goals, lifestyle, and food preferences. She believes in a real food approach to nutrition that shifts the focus to more mindfulness and intentionality around food and eating behaviors. This approach allows her clients to reach their health, performance, and body composition goals while eating foods they truly enjoy, improving their relationship with food, and creating healthy habits that fit seamlessly into their everyday. Her counseling approach, tailored to each individual, incorporates realistic strategies for implementing change which helps clients create sustainable healthy habits and a deeper understanding of how to best support their unique needs.
While nutrition is a key player in any health journey, Ashley fully embraces whole-person wellness which prioritizes the connection between nutrition and the multiple domains of health including mental, physical, and social wellbeing. It is her ultimate goal to support her clients through creating sustainable lifestyle and dietary changes that will lead to lifelong health centered around balance, flexibility, and a positive relationship with food.
Ashley is a North Carolina native, UNCW alum, and after family, faith, and food, her true loves are her dog, the beach, CrossFit and coffee.
