Rebecca Kolman, MA

Rebecca Kolman is our Executive Director, guiding the strategic leadership and direction of the organization.  She is also our team’s go-to problem solver and strategist!

Rebecca is originally from western Pennsylvania and moved to central North Carolina in 2009.  She has a Master’s degree in Higher Education and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.  She has also completed the Integrative Health Coaching program at Duke Integrative Medicine. Before Summerfield, she had a 10-year career in higher ed, focusing on program development and management, marketing, communications, and recruitment.  She developed an interest in the business of healthcare through a position with the Health Sector Management program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she managed a specialized certificate in healthcare leadership and administration for Executive MBA students.

Summerfield presented the opportunity to blend her experience in education with her interest in healthcare when she joined the team in 2017 to help develop our signature program, Reset & Rebalance.  In 2018, she became our Director of Operations, leading the expansion effort of introducing workplace wellness services and our outpatient office to the Raleigh-Durham area.  In 2021, she stepped into the role of Executive Director, and her favorite aspect of this role is supporting the development of our growing team so they can successfully carry out our company’s mission and vision.
